Luminometer – a powerful tool to ensure surface cleanliness
The luminometer is a fast and reliable instrument for measuring the cleanliness of surfaces using the ATP test. Net-Foodlab Oy is an experienced expert in luminometry and ATP analysis. We have been importing, using and training customers in the use of these instruments for over 25 years.
What is a luminometer?
A luminometer is a measuring instrument that can quickly assess the cleanliness of surfaces and equipment. It is based on ATP measurement, which measures the amount of organic matter. The more ATP found, the more dirt on the surface.
How does a luminometer work?
The luminometer measures the cleanliness of surfaces and equipment by means of an ATP test. ATP, or adenosine triphosphate, is a compound found in all organic matter. When a sample is taken with a test stick and placed in the luminometer, the instrument measures the amount of ATP and gives a result within seconds. The higher the result, the more contaminants are present on the surface and the more likely it is that the cleaning has not been successful.

Why choose a luminometer to measure surface purity?
